Jim Embree serves as Executive Chairman of the Board for Embree Group, comprised of Embree Construction Group, Inc., Embree Development Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc.
Jim began his career in commercial real estate as an estimator and purchasing agent for a national multi-family builder/developer. In 1976, he and a partner formed Jay’s Construction Company, Inc. in Kansas City, where he co-managed the company and served as Vice President until September 1979. In October of that year, Jim incorporated Embree Construction Corporation in Missouri. To take advantage of the blossoming Sunbelt economy, the firm was relocated to Georgetown, Texas, in 1981, and in 1982, the Texas corporation, Embree Construction Group, Inc. was formed.

Rick Crowe serves as Vice Chairman, General Counsel and Safety Director for each of the companies within Embree Group: Embree Construction Group, Inc., Embree Development Group, Inc., Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc. and Embree Healthcare Group, Inc. Rick joined Embree Group in 2000.
As Vice Chairman, Rick is involved in the executive management and corporate governance of each of the Embree Group companies. As General Counsel, he serves as the Chief Legal Officer for each company. Some of his duties as General Counsel include overseeing the selection, retention and management of outside counsel, managing corporate litigation, participating in and overseeing the drafting and negotiation of corporate contracts, handling human resources and employment law matters, and providing risk management for the companies by working closely with their insurance providers and sureties.
As Safety Director, Rick directs, develops, and oversees the general health and safety policies and procedures of each of the Embree companies. He also works with local, state and federal agencies in all fifty states to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and other regulations applicable to Embree projects. Rick has earned certification as a Certified Safety Professional (“CSP”) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
Rick received his B.B.A. degree in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin and his J.D. Degree from Baylor Law School, where he was a member of the Baylor Law Review Editorial Board, Baylor Law’s Mock Trial Team, and Order of Barristers. Following law school, he served as Briefing Attorney under a Clerkship with Justice Bill Vance at the Tenth Court of Appeals, and thereafter joined the law firm of Jackson Walker in Austin for several years, where his practice concentrated on both trial and appellate law, with particular emphasis on commercial litigation, construction law, and contract disputes.

Frank Krenek serves as CEO of Embree Construction Group, Inc., and as Executive Vice President of Embree Development Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc. Frank is also a member of the Board of Directors of Embree Construction Group, Inc., Embree Development Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc.
Frank served as Division/Project Manager from 1985 through 1989, where he was responsible for the company’s largest retail clients, including Western Auto, Firestone, and Albertson’s. In April 2000, Frank was named President of Embree Construction Group, after serving as Executive Vice President since January 1996 and as Vice President and General Manager since 1989. Prior to joining Embree Construction Group, Frank worked for two Dallas-based national general contractors: Centex Bateson, Inc. and Sikes Construction. While at Centex Bateson, he worked on major projects including the Zale World Headquarters, Baylor University Medical Center and the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts. During his tenure at Sikes Construction, and in addition to his responsibilities as Estimator, Frank worked as a Project Manager on medium to large commercial projects.
In December 1980, Frank received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction from Texas A&M University, where he was recognized with a scholarship from the Association of General Construction. Frank continues to be involved with Texas A&M as a 30-year member of the Association of Former Students, and has served on the Construction Sciences Department Board of Advisors.

Philip Annis serves as President & CEO of Embree Development Group, Inc., operating in the executive management of the organization since joining the company in 1996. Philip also serves as Executive Vice President of Embree Construction Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc., and is a member of the Board of Directors of Embree Development Group, Inc., Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc., and Embree Construction Group, Inc.
Philip received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University in 1983. Upon graduation, Philip began his career in the custom home building business where he oversaw the day-to-day construction operations of custom homes in the greater Houston and Central Texas areas.
In 1986, Philip transitioned into commercial real estate investment, brokerage and development, and in 1989 formed EuroTex Enterprises, Inc. In his role as CEO and President, EuroTex prospered as a real estate consulting and development company for both commercial retail, office and mixed use projects.
Philip holds a Texas Real Estate Broker’s license, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a past participant of the Professional Advisory Boards for both the College of Construction Science, and the Master’s program for Land Development at Texas A&M University.

Rocky Hardin serves as CEO/CFO of Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc., Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Embree Construction Group, Inc., and Embree Development Group, Inc., and is a member of the Board of Directors of Embree Construction Group, Inc., Embree Development Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc.
Rocky joined Embree Group in 1986 and was immediately instrumental in licensing Embree to do business in all 50 states. Rocky works with financial institutions and other capital sources to procure financing and capital for all operational and development needs. He is also responsible for financial reporting, and state and federal tax compliance.
In addition to serving on Embree Group’s Board of Directors, Rocky serves on the Advisory Board of BBVA Compass Bank-Georgetown, the Board of Directors of the Tarleton State University Foundation, Inc., the Advisory Board of the College of Business Administration at Tarleton State University, and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Cory Delz serves as President of Construction. Cory works alongside Frank Krenek, CEO of Embree Construction Group, Inc. to manage the day to day operations of the construction company in addition to his duties for the management of a division delivering quality projects on time and within budget for multiple nationally known companies.
Cory began his career with Embree Construction as an intern, and in 2005 joined Embree Construction full-time as an Assistant Project Manager. During his tenure, Cory has completed projects for a multitude of product types including: restaurants, retail, medical, and banking institutions for clients such as Church’s Chicken, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Capital One, Chase Bank, Fresenius Medical Care, DaVita Dialysis Clinics, Academy Sports & Outdoors, McCoy’s Building Supply, The Goddard School, and Bright Horizons.

Josiah Byrnes serves as President of Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc., where he helps guide the formation and execution of diversified real estate capital structures and investment strategies for individual, institutional, and international investors, developers, and tenants.
Prior to joining Embree Capital Markets Group in 2010, Josiah served as a sales director with several national real estate syndicators, including Cole Real Estate Investments, Bluerock Real Estate, and CBC Worldwide, where he participated in sales of securitized §1031 Exchange offerings, non-traded REITs, and various opportunistic debt and private equity funds in excess of $1 billion of total capitalized value. Josiah also previously served as a personal financial analyst for a subsidiary of Citigroup, where he assisted clients with insurance, mortgage, and investment solutions.

Rob joined Embree Group in 2010 as Vice President of Finance for Embree Capital Markets where he oversaw portfolio management and proposal creation. Prior to his tenure with Embree Group, Rob previously worked with Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Anderson. Rob is a Certified Public Accountant with over 19 years of experience in the financial and accounting arena. His experience includes internal and external reporting (including SEC and IPOs, annual and quarterly reporting) auditing, internal controls, Sarbanes Oxley, process improvement, due diligence, financial analysis, and banking relations.

Beth McCracken serves as Vice President of Program Management / Minor Works for Embree Construction Group, Inc., where her occupational duties include contract management and negotiation, design, construction management, value engineering, strategic planning, facilities and program management, procurement, capital expenditures, and warranty services. Beth is also responsible for the management of a 25-person team responsible for design, procurement and construction for the successful delivery of hundreds of retail projects annually.

Dave Fremmer serves as Vice President of Design and Construction Services for Embree Development Group, Inc., where he oversees all design and construction services.
Prior to joining Embree in 2008, Dave was the Manager of New Store Planning and Design for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. In this role, Dave led the redesign of the building prototype for the retail tire stores, modernized the sales area, and remodeled all 830 retail stores within two years. Dave helped Goodyear realize this goal on time and under budget.
Dave believes in and practices personal and corporate integrity and esteemed values among the Embree Group of Companies. He praises Embree for retaining the family-owned company atmosphere despite the rapid expansion.
Tommy Waters serves as Vice President of Real Estate for Embree Development Group, Inc., where he manages build-to-suit relationships, including the entire process from site selection through design, permitting, and construction to store turnover for national retailers. He also oversees due diligence and joint venture developments with third-party firms.
Prior to joining Embree Development Group, Inc. in 2006, Tommy was an owner and broker for Waters Property Management/Real Estate, where he managed approximately 600 units of residential, commercial, and multi-family properties in the Central Texas area. Tommy also served as Assistant Vice President in the Land and Investment Brokerage Division for Henry S. Miller Company prior to owning his own company.
