Rick Crowe

Rick Crowe received his B.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Texas in Austin and his J.D. degree from Baylor Law School, where he was a member of the Mock Trial Team, Order of Barristers, and the Baylor Law Review Editorial Board. Following law school, Mr. Crowe was a Briefing Attorney for Justice Bill Vance of the Tenth Court of Appeals, and practiced law at the firm of Jackson Walker for several years, where his practice concentrated on both trial law and appellate law, with particular emphasis on commercial litigation, construction law, and contract disputes. He is admitted to practice in all Texas courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Crowe is a member of the State Bar of Texas and its Litigation and Construction Law Sections, College of the State Bar of Texas, Williamson County Bar Association, and the National Order of Barristers. Mr. Crowe is also a Director at Crowe’s Nest Farm, Inc., a hands-on science learning center and popular field trip destination for elementary children in the Central Texas area.

In directing the corporate legal department at Embree, Mr. Crowe assists in a wide range of activities from contract drafting and analysis to maintaining compliance with state and federal safety and employment law regulations. Additionally, because of his background as a trial lawyer, Mr. Crowe brings in-house capability and expertise in handling and managing the company’s litigation.
