Philip Annis, President of Embree Asset Group, Inc., a development company that provides build-to-suit opportunities utilizing the construction group’s design/build expertise, joined the company in October of 1996 and, since then, has been involved in the executive management of the organization. Mr. Annis also serves as Executive Vice Presdient of Embree Construction Group, Inc.

In 1983, Mr. Annis received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction from Texas A&M University. Upon graduation, Mr. Annis began his career in the custom home building business where he oversaw the day-to-day construction operations of custom homes in the greater Houston and Central Texas areas. In 1986, Mr. Annis began a career in commercial real estate investment, brokerage and development. In 1989, Mr. Annis formed EuroTex Enterprises, Inc. In his role as CEO and President, EuroTex prospered as a real estate consulting and development company and afforded Mr. Annis the opportunity to expand his experience in business and finance.

Mr. Annis holds a Texas Real Estate Broker’s license, and he sits on the Professional Advisory Boards for both the College of Construction Science and the Master’s program for Land Development at Texas A&M University. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, and through the years has participated in a number of other professional organizations.
