Frank Krenek
President - Embree Construction Group, Inc.; Executive Vice President - Embree Asset Group, Inc.

Frank Krenek was named President of Embree Construction Group in April 2000 where he had been Executive Vice President since January 1996 and Vice President and General Manager from 1989. From 1985 through 1989, he was a Division/Project Manager responsible for the company’s largest retail clients, including Western Auto, Firestone, and Albertson’s.

Prior to joining the Embree Group, Frank worked for two Dallas-based national general contractors: Centex Bateson, Inc., and Sikes Construction. While at Centex Bateson, he worked on several multi-million dollar projects, including the Baylor University Medical Center ($175 million) and the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts ($28 million). During his tenure at Sikes Construction, in addition to his responsibilities as estimator, he worked as a project manager on medium to large commercial projects. Frank Krenek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction from Texas A&M University and currently serves on the University’s Board of Advisors for the Construction Service Department.

In December of 1995, Mr. Krenek accepted the position of interim president of Embree Healthcare Group, Inc. This sister company was created to design, build and develop long-term care facilities. Mr. Krenek hired and trained the current president and staff, and he now serves on the company’s Board of Directors and is a stockholder. Mr. Krenek is also a stockholder and board member of the Gabriel's Funeral Chapel in Georgetown.
